Kelly Michelle Stables was born in St. Louis Missouri where she was a performer at The Muny Opera. The University of Missouri Columbia conferred her with an undergraduate degree in Theatre and Communication. Following her move between Missouri and Los Angeles in 2004, she took part in theater arts. This included acting as well as directing in over 20 musicals. The productions include The Little Foxes Brady Bunch : The Musical Peter Pan for the Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera. Kelly began landing television and film roles as she continued to study the art of improvisation with The Groundlings. She also was a part of Theatre West. Her unique voice, and small size allowed Kelly to create many different characters. The most famous character she has played is Naomi Watts's scheming Samara in The Ring 2, but her best-known character is as the cheerful receptionist in Two and a Half Men. Kelly was the paralegal as well as a social animal in TV the show Land's The Exes as a Series regular from 2011-2015. Kelly was also a regular in the role of Alyssa's smart, sassy sister in ABC's Romantically Challenged and as the mother of a stressed suburban family in the CW show No Tomorrow. She sang in soprano for several cartoons such as Tom & Jerry, Sofia the First and Doc McStuffins. Her most recent role was as the dim and lovable Cloud 9 staffer on NBC hit comedy Superstore. With her husband and their two children, she leads an unhurried lifestyle.
