Ashley Graham is from Lincoln, Nebraska. Two of her sisters were her caregivers, but she was often bullied in schools due to her larger legs. Graham was diagnosed as having attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder shortly after graduating from elementary school. But, she managed to over come it and other obstacles in her early years. An agent for talent discovered Graham aged 12 at an Nebraska shopping mall. Before graduating from Lincoln Southwest High School in 2005, she had been featured in various magazines and billboards. In the early days of Graham's modelling career, she was a model but her physical attributes made it hard for her to land modeling jobs. Graham was offered to be on catalogs for several years but she wasn't told that her career would progress beyond basic jobs. It was fortunate that she could prove her session casters' wrong and saw rapid growth in her professional career. Sally Singer interviewed her for "Vogue's" 2007 issue. It was an opportunity for her first breakthrough. She appeared as a model in "Glamour Magazine" article "These Bodies are Beautiful at Any Size". Graham became a media sensation by being featured in Lane Bryant's controversial commercial. The commercial was ultimately removed from several markets. The situation grew uncontrollable, and Graham addressed the issue during"Tonight Show "Tonight Show" host by Jay Leno. Graham was soon a well-known Plus-sized model. Grande started performing and singing in her teens. She was given a small role on Broadway's play 13 in 2008. After that she was acting in various television programs. The year 2010 brought her biggest break when she was cast on the Nickelodeon show Victorious. Cat Valentine was a teenager who attended a performing arts high school. She starred in Sam & Cat, a spin-off show that ran from 2013 until 2014.
