Antonina Shevchenko
Antonina Shchenko is a Kyrgyzstani Muay Thy fighter. She currently competes within the UFC Flyweight division. She's older than her fellow UFC Fighter and Former UFC Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko, an experienced Muay Thai Kickboxer began her fight sports career at her first IFMA World Championship Tournament. Shevchenko won this tournament with a unanimous victory over Suzane Miller. Antonina received a gold medal in 2007, a silver medal in 2008, a silver in 2007, an award of bronze in 2008 and a medal with gold in 2011. Then she was named IFMA World Amateur Muay Thailand Champion 2016 by the IFMA. Antonia's professional career began in 2003. In 2012 she won her the WKC K-1 Light Welterweight World Championship and in 2016 she won the Lion Fight Lightweight Championship and in 2016, the WMC World Championships. Antonina was the last time she fought Isa Tidblad Keskikangas during her fight at the Phoenix Fighting Championship. The victory was achieved by unanimity. Antonina Shychenko's professional MMA debut was in 2002, during the KFK Cup of Kyrgystan where she was matched against Anara Bayanova. She took the win via a second round TKO followed by 2 additional fights at WXF X-Impact World Championships to earn a 3-0 record. Shevchenko had a brief time off from MMA and focused on her kickboxing. Shevchenko made her comeback in 2017 with Anissa Diddaoui. Shevchenko won against Anissa by a unanimous vote as well as defeated Valerie Domergue at Phoenix FC 4. She left in 2018 the competition and began competing in Dana White's Contender Series. Shevchenko took on Jaimelene Nievera as part of Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series. Antonina used superior striking in order to TKO Nievera by knees to her body in the clinch. Antonina Shevchenko received a UFC Contract after this victory. Antonina Shychenko made her debut in the UFC at TUF's Heavy Hitters finals, where she faced Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko took victory in a unanimous victory, however she was defeated in her next fight by Roxanne Modafferi on the split decision. Antonina was able to bounce back from the defeat and beat Lucie Pudddilova at UFC on ESPN Covington-Lawler by rear-naked submission during the second round. The bout earned Antonina the prize of Fight of The Night. Shevchenko was defeated by Katlyn and Andrea Lee in three of her subsequent fights. She defeated Ariane Lipski, and also defeated Ariane. Antonina suffered a loss to Casey O'Neill by second-round TKO in the second round of UFC Fight Night Santos Walker.
