Lauren and Markie

Lauren Ash-Morgan is Founding Co-Artistic Director of the new theater company Speech of Fire and served as the Artistic Director of Seoul Shakespeare Company (SSC) between 2014 and 2019. She has been an actor and board member for SSC since the year 2011. She was also the producer, costume/set designer, composer/musician and text coach for SSC while she served as its Artistic Director. While she was usually the leader inside her ensemble of actors In her final year as an actor in SSC King Lear, she became a director and lighting designer.
